Terms of service
Plain English, on purpose
These are the terms of service for ChargeRight. There is no longer version hiding somewhere else: this page is the whole agreement.

What ChargeRight is
A consumer-advocate pre-assessment. You answer questions about your home and panel, optionally add photos, and ChargeRight runs an NEC Article 220 load calculation to tell you whether your panel can support an EV charger. The section applied depends on your situation: NEC 220.83(A) for an existing home adding a load (the usual case), NEC 220.83(B) when new heating or A/C is added alongside the charger, and NEC 220.82 for new construction or a planned full service change. Your report names the section that produced your verdict. The paid report includes the verdict, the math behind it, a recommended circuit size, and a printable handoff for your electrician.
What ChargeRight is not
It is not a permit, a final electrical design, an installation service, a referral program, or a charger-brand sales channel. It is a pre-assessment: a well-informed starting point, not the final word. A licensed electrician must verify your panel in person, do the install, and pull any required permit.
AI limitations
If you upload panel photos, they are read by Google Gemini, an AI vision model, working from a human-vetted prompt. AI is pattern matching, not a professional inspection: it can misread a label or miss what a trained eye would catch. The load calculation itself is deterministic math, not AI. Either way, always confirm the verdict with a licensed electrician before any work.
Payment
A single assessment is a one-time payment of $49, processed by Stripe Checkout. ChargeRight never sees or stores your card. Multi-assessment packs and the Monthly Pro subscription are set up by email at [email protected]; current prices are on the pricing page. Monthly Pro is the only recurring charge, and you can cancel it any month.
See pricing30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Every ChargeRight purchase is covered by a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.
To get a refund, email [email protected] within 30 days of purchase. Include your report link, or if you lost it, the Stripe receipt email from your purchase. Either one works.
You get a full refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. No reason required, though I would love to know what went wrong so I can fix it.
Packs: a 5-Pack or 10-Pack is refundable in full while it is unused. Monthly Pro: refundable for the current month, and you can cancel any month.
Your report and report link
Your finished report lives at a private link that only you receive. There are no accounts and no logins: the link is how you get back to your report, so keep it. Anyone who has the link can view the report, so share it only with people you choose, like your electrician.
If you ask, I email you the report link. That is the only email the assessment sends you: no marketing list, no follow-up drip.
Who owns what
The ChargeRight software, the load calculation engine, the report format, the writing on this site, and the ChargeRight name and logo belong to Nora Group LLC. Paying for an assessment buys you your report: keep it, print it, hand it to your electrician, your inspector, or your utility. It does not license you to copy the product itself, resell the assessment, or rebuild it from the report.
Your photos stay yours. You give ChargeRight permission to do one thing with them: analyze your panel so your report can be produced, which includes sending them to Google Gemini as described above and in the privacy policy. They are never used for advertising and never sold. How long they are kept, and how to have them deleted, are in the privacy policy.

Our responsibility is limited to the assessment and capped at the price you paid for it. Install, design, and permit decisions belong to your licensed electrician.
Acceptance
By using the tool or paying for an assessment, you agree to these terms.
Plain language
These terms are the whole agreement between you and ChargeRight. They are written in plain English on purpose, and the plain meaning of the words governs. If any part turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them, and changes apply only going forward. A change never shrinks the guarantee on a purchase you already made.
